Mission Office- Week 23

Hello world,

I want everyone to know that I am super excited for general conference this year!! It will be my last  general conference in the mission and I am so excited to hear again the words of our prophets and apostles. I am also super excited to see how the Lord´s church will continued to be restored in our days.

This week was really busy because we had transfers. We had a lot of people sleeping at the Hotel Brazil Curitiba South (which is our apartment). We had three straight nights with 10+ Elders sleeping in our house. It was a lot of fun and crazy at the same time.

On Thursday, we had a Family Home Evening (which is a family meeting where we all get together to have good time) at the house of a member in our ward and there was a non-member family there. It is a family really good. It is mom, dad, and two sons (ages 14 and 10). We taught the restoration and we show the video of the First Vision of Joseph Smith. They were quite during the lesson but it ended up being a really great lesson. They, at the end, participated and made a lot of really good commentaries. At the ended, we got them really interested. They accepted to read the Book of Mormon and invited them to pray to know it is true. Also, they accepted to come and visit the church on Sunday. We are praying that they will come and visit tomorrow.

All in all, it was a really great week. We also won the blessing that President bought three huge pizzas for us on Transfer Day. It was awesome and there were 13 missionaries.

Hope you all have a great week and I also want to give out a shout out to my favorite and best sister who is turn 16 on Monday. Love you Rachel and I hope you have a great birthday.

Com amor,
Elder Pinkney
